Excursion to Frankfurt


Deutsche Bank Global Markets

We will go to Frankfurt by bus and visit the Deutsche Boerse, the European Central Bank and the Deutsche Bank. The trip is sponsored by the Deutsche Bank and is co-organized by the Akademischer Börsenzirkel München e.V.

Programme: - VIP-tour at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange - Tour of the European Central Bank and speeches - Visit of the Deutsche Bank headquarters - lecture from the Global Markets division - sandwich lunch & get-together

Costs are 10€ + 20€ deposit (refund in the bus to ensure only serious applications).

Dr. Marcus Schulmerich is a Vice President with State Street Global Advisors GmbH (SSgA), Munich, and as a Senior Product Engineer responsible for Continental Europe and the Middle East. As the product specialist he covers all quantitative equity strategies in the Enhanced and Active space. Before joining SSgA he was a product specialist with PIMCO in London and Munich for many years, responsible for actively managed fixed income and commodity portfolios. Dr. Schulmerich started his career with ADIG Investment as a Financial Engineer and Risk Manager. He works with SSgA since 2006 and has nine years of work experience.

Due to his personal long-time commitment, social entrepreneur Ruppert Voß has achieved an impressive number of successful reintegration activities to delinquent minors with his “work and box company”. In his workshop the assertive and multi-talented entrepreneur, by now Ashoka fellow, will outline his story of becoming a social entrepreneur. He will point out beneficial characteristics for the social entrepreneur and the way social entrepreneurship has changed and inspired his life. Also, participants will see a clip of Rupert's current cinema film “Friedensschlag”.
